Morning departure for Cascate del Serio, a cinematic location surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes.

The Cascate del Serio are artificial waterfalls, released only on selected dates decided by local authorities. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the falls will be flowing on the day of your visit. However, the area remains a beautiful hiking destination and an atmospheric film setting.

This is the place where Elio and Oliver run through the landscape while “Mystery of Love” by Sufjan Stevens plays in one of the film’s most iconic sequences.

Today you’ll step into the authentic countryside of the Po Valley, one of the main backdrops of Call Me By Your Name. Quiet roads, timeless villages, and sunlit fields become the perfect setting to follow in Elio and Oliver’s footsteps.

Upon arrival in Crema, meet your English-speaking guide.

From Crema, continue to Trescore, where you will rent your e-bikes and ride toward the famous fontanili — spring-fed ponds and natural canals where some of the movie’s most iconic scenes take place.

Lunch at Il Bosco Restaurant, where you’ll taste one of the local signature dishes: Tortelli Cremaschi. A short cooking class will also introduce you to the tradition behind this unique recipe.

In the afternoon, continue exploring key film locations in the area:

• Pandino (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III).
• Capralba.
• Ricengo Lake (another memorable setting from the movie).

Back in Crema, enjoy a guided walk through the town center and its film highlights, including:

Visit the Grotte di Catullo, a remarkable Roman villa complex built between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD. A perfect stop for lovers of archaeology — and definitely something that would make Professor Perlman proud. Some scenes were filmed here between the archaeological park and Jamaica Beach.

Enjoy time to explore Sirmione, with its fairytale atmosphere, lakeside views, and iconic Scaliger Castle, dominating the entrance of the peninsula. The Lake Garda area is also known for its citrus groves, a surprising Mediterranean touch in Northern Italy.
