The tour begins on Lipari, the main island of the Aeolian archipelago. After meeting the skipper at the marina, you’ll board the sailing yacht and settle into your cabin. A short welcome briefing introduces life on board and the plan for the week ahead.

Together with the group, you’ll then head into town to purchase food and drinks for the cruise. A supermarket is located just steps from the port, making provisioning easy and informal—also a perfect moment to start getting to know your fellow travelers.

The evening is free to enjoy Lipari at your own pace. You may choose to dine on board or explore one of the island’s seafood restaurants. A stop at the historic Subba pastry shop is highly recommended to taste classic Sicilian sweets such as cannoli, cassata, or granita.

After leaving Lipari, the cruise begins with a swim near the pumice quarries, where the water turns an intense sapphire blue. You then sail toward Panarea, the most elegant of the Aeolian Islands.

During the afternoon, you’ll circumnavigate the island and stop in some of its most beautiful spots. Enjoy a swim and lunch on board at Cala Zimmari, and—if you love snorkeling—take advantage of the clear waters rich in posidonia. The landscape changes continuously: from the fumaroles near Calcara Beach to the steep volcanic walls of Basiluzzo, and the natural “amphitheater” of Cala Junco, one of Panarea’s most iconic bays.

Toward sunset, you’ll anchor near the small islets off Panarea—Dattilo, Lisca Bianca, Bottaro and Basiluzzo—for an unforgettable light show, where warm tones meet sulfur yellow and iron red volcanic rocks.

In the evening, you can stroll through Panarea’s chic little streets and enjoy a drink. Those who wish may experience the island’s nightlife at the famous Raya Club, or spend the night anchored in a quiet, sheltered bay.

The day begins sailing past Basiluzzo, often called the “eighth Aeolian island,” with its dramatic rock formations and sea caves sculpted by lava and wind.

Soon after, the unmistakable silhouette of Stromboli appears on the horizon. Known as one of Europe’s most active volcanoes, the island offers a powerful and almost primal atmosphere. You’ll anchor near San Vincenzo Bay, famous for its black lava sand.

In the afternoon, you may go ashore to explore the village or, if you wish, join a guided hike toward the volcano’s crater. Later, enjoy a drink at Ingrid Bar, overlooking Strombolicchio and the open sea.

After dinner on board, the highlight of the day awaits: witnessing the Sciara del Fuoco, where glowing lava flows illuminate the night sky—a truly unforgettable natural spectacle.

Today is dedicated to Salina, the greenest island of the Aeolian archipelago. The morning stop is at Pollara, a dramatic bay surrounded by towering cliffs and known as a filming location for Il Postino. Here you’ll swim, relax, and enjoy lunch on board in a stunning natural setting.

In the afternoon, you’ll sail to Santa Marina Salina, where you can explore the village, wander among caper plants and bougainvillea, and taste the island’s renowned granita—Alfredo’s is a must.

Dinner can be enjoyed ashore, either sampling traditional Sicilian dishes or returning to Lingua to try the iconic pane cunzatu.

Sailing toward Filicudi, one of the most unspoiled islands of the Aeolian archipelago, you may be lucky enough to spot dolphins or sea turtles along the way—an unforgettable moment that often surprises guests in these waters.

You’ll stop near Capo Graziano, where the island reveals its most authentic character. Filicudi is pure wilderness, above and below the surface: snorkeling here offers crystal-clear waters and rich seabeds shaped by volcanic activity.

In the afternoon, you reach Pecorini a Mare, a small fishing village where time seems to stand still. After a swim, enjoy a relaxed drink by the sea and, if available, taste homemade local specialties sold by village women along the shore. If fishing boats arrive in the evening, you may even purchase fresh swordfish for dinner on board. Alternatively, you can dine ashore at the island’s iconic restaurant, La Sirena, and try the famous Svergognata dessert.

After a final swim around Filicudi, the cruise continues toward La Canna, a dramatic volcanic sea stack rising from the water. You’ll anchor nearby for a swim in emerald waters around Montenassari, home to seabirds and striking underwater landscapes.

One of the highlights of the day is the Grotta del Bue Marino, where shades of blue and green blend with the deep black of the cave. Sunlight penetrates deep underwater, creating one of the most memorable swimming experiences of the week.

Later, sailing past Lipari’s sea stacks, you’ll enjoy the changing colors of the coastline before reaching Vulcano. In the evening, go ashore to walk on the island’s famous black sand beach, enjoy a drink, and experience the relaxed nightlife of the village.
