Itinerary
Day 01 – Venice: Death in Venice & Murano
Follow the atmosphere of Thomas Mann’s Death in Venice, set in a sultry Venice touched by cholera, where the writer Gustav von Aschenbach—at the peak of his career—becomes captivated by Tadzio, a boy of extraordinary beauty.
The day explores the contrast between discipline and desire, as the story turns into one of the most iconic queer narratives in European literature.
You’ll also stop at the legendary Hotel des Bains (external visit), the glamorous seaside hotel linked to Mann’s inspiration.
If you wish, you can end the day in Murano, the island world-famous for its glassmaking tradition. Watch a live glass-blowing demonstration, where artisans shape Murano glass right in front of you.
Day 02 – Prosecco Wine Roads
Time for a full day “On the Roads of Prosecco” experience.
Visit two renowned wineries in the Prosecco area and enjoy curated tastings paired with typical local specialties. A relaxed and scenic day among vineyards and gentle hills—made for couples and wine lovers.
Day 03 – Venice at Leisure & Lagoon Dinner Cruise
A free day to enjoy Venice at your own pace: hidden courtyards, quiet canals, artisan workshops, and long coffee breaks.
In the evening, board a traditional Venetian galleon, the Jolly Roger, for a warm and memorable dinner experience while sailing through the magical landscapes of the lagoon.
Day 04 – Venice to Lake Garda: Bardolino
Train transfer from Venice to Bardolino (Lake Garda). Arrival at Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite, welcome drink and check-in.
In the afternoon, enjoy a stroll along the lakefront and the historic center of Bardolino. This is also the perfect moment to discover the area’s wine culture—Bardolino Rosso, Custoza, Lugana, and Valdadige—ideal for a relaxed tasting in good company.
Day 05 – Wellness Day at Aqualux
A full day dedicated to relaxation.

Day 06 – Sirmione & Verona
Boat excursion to Sirmione, one of the most iconic villages on Lake Garda. Visit the Grotte di Catullo, the remains of a Roman villa surrounded by olive trees and panoramic views over the lake.
In the afternoon, continue to Verona for a guided visit focused on the city’s most romantic symbols, including Juliet’s House and the historic center.
Day 07 – Departure
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Peschiera del Garda railway station.
