Live and breathe the art of fresco painting as happened 500 years ago at the time of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo in an ancient art workshop.
Learn how to paint with fresco techniques and prove yourself at clay sculpture in a famous Florentine art-studio.
The Art teacher introduces to this ancient painting technique – fresco – for bout 30 minutes and explain how the "intonaco" is made (the preliminary layer of plaster spread on the tile), the cardboard for the "spolvero" of the drawing and the use of the pigments. In the second 2.5 hours each student will have the opportunity to paint his/her own fresco on a small tile (20cmx20cm).
At the end of the lesson you will have accomplished a small but meaningful artwork which you can bring home as a very personal memory of your stay in Italy.
