Capri & Anacapri from the Sea
Tour Information
This tour focuses on Capri gay history!
A convenient hydrofoil leaving form Molo Beverello in Naples (where the cruise docks) takes you to Capri, one of the most enchanting islands in the Mediterranean Sea. It is still a top destination for international travelers, but its celebrity roots back to the 19th and 20th century, when its gorgeous natural beauty attracted rich visitors from Northern Europe. Some of them were artists or art collectors, who found here the best place to live and to freely express their identity.
Your guide meets and greets you at the Naples port when catching the hydrofoil to Capri.
In Capri visit to the magnificent Villa Lysis, where Baron Larsen lived his life with his beloved Nino and left memories of his passion for art and for young men. Villa Lysis can be reached only walking (45 minutes), so you need very comfortable shoes! Alternatively, you can go for a walk on your own and discover the tiny and precious small shops of the Island.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a magnificent boat tour (three-hours), circumnavigating the island and, if possible, getting closer to the Blue Grotto, which is a stunning natural heritage of cristalline waters. A light lunch with appetizers and abundant prosecco is offered on board! You have time to dive into the clear waters of Capri: if you like snorkeling, this is the right place!
You will see Anacapri – the highest district of Capri – and its villas, including villa San Michele from the sea
The boat tour takes place only if sea conditions are good. If sea conditions are rough, alternatively, the tour will take place on the land and will include street food and a walking tour in the island, for some shopping.
Do not forget your cap, towel and swimsuit. Also, sneakers or trekking shoes are advised.
At 4.30 PM catch the hydrofoil on your way back to Naples port.
